The National Customer Preference Register (NCPR)

To avoid unwanted telemarketing calls and messages, register your number with the National Customer Preference Register. Your S Tel mobile number will be registered within 7 days from the date of request. To register your mobile number, simply dial our toll free number 1909 and follow the IVR instructions.

You can also send an SMS START < option > to 1909 from the available preferences-

The options are –

> Option ‘0’ - to STOP ALL promotional calls and messages

> Option ‘1’ - to STOP ALL promotional calls and to receive promotional message only from Banking/Insurance/Financial Products/Credit Cards

> Option ‘2’ - to STOP ALL promotional calls and to receive promotional message on Real Estate

> Option ‘3’ - to STOP ALL promotional calls and to receive promotional message on Education

> Option ‘4’ - to STOP ALL promotional calls and to receive promotional message on Health

> Option ‘5’ - to STOP ALL promotional calls and to receive promotional message on Consumer Goods and automobiles

> Option ‘6’ - to STOP ALL promotional calls and to receive promotional message from Communication/Broadcasting/Entertainment

> Option ‘7’ - to STOP ALL promotional calls and to receive promotional message on Tourism and Leisure

You may withdraw or change preference after 90 days from the date of registration. Simply send an SMS in the below mentioned format-

· SMS STOP < option1 > to 1909 to deregister for single option.

· SMS STOP < option1,option2 > to 1909 to deregister for more than one options.

· SMS STOP to 1909 to deregister for all promotional calls and messages.
